Today is Day One.
May 9, 2003 was Day One for me. Over the next 14 months, before discovering I was pregnant with my second child and putting a halt to weight loss, I succeeded at shedding 87 lbs and I was a hair breadth away from my weight goal. I exercised 3-5 times per week doing things I enjoyed. I felt physically fantastic.
I've had countless Day Ones but none have had that groove when I actually felt I can do this deep in my bones.
This time is different.
I'm happy to have the support of my friend, Stephanie, who is on her own similar journey, and I hope to be a good support to her as well.
